Viewer Responses

Thank you for the care you put in, I felt it throughout the film – a beautiful portrayal of the real complexities we face and the systemic issues that extend to all facets of society. I wanted more!! You showed vulnerability resilience family community violence need for safety + protection and most importantly you upheld dignity to end stigma and discrimination. 谢谢 🙏👏🙏Truly wonderful!

Thank you so much for reaching out, and for sharing the film. I found it genuinely engaging and deeply thought-provoking.

What stood out most to me was how intentionally you centered the narrative around sex workers of color, while still allowing each subject’s perspective the space and dignity to stand on its own. Every voice added something distinct and necessary, and together they formed a far more nuanced and human portrait than we so often see in conversations around decriminalization. It felt careful, grounded, and refreshingly unsensationalized.

It’s wonderful to hear about the recent screenings and panels. I can only imagine how moving it must have been to experience the film alongside the people featured in it and to witness those conversations unfolding in real time.

Thank you again for the work you’ve done here. As a former film student and someone who strongly supports decriminalization, I truly appreciate the care, clarity, and empathy you brought to this project.

It’s an important contribution, and one I’m grateful to have seen.
